What We Stand On

Our beliefs are not a formality. They are the foundation of who we are and everything we do.

"For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." ~ Ephesians 4:12-13

BELIEF 1

We believe in the authority of Scripture.

The Word of God is the foundation of all truth, all teaching, and all transformation. Everything we do at RHI is rooted in and accountable to the Bible.

BELIEF 2

We believe in the Triune God.

We worship and serve the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, one God in three persons, and we build our ministry on the revelation of who He is and what He has done.

BELIEF 3

We believe in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

We are a Spirit-filled, non-denominational ministry. We believe in the indwelling and empowering work of the Holy Spirit, who brings conviction, comfort, guidance, and renewal, and who leads believers and communities toward restoration and wholeness. We welcome believers from every stream of the body of Christ.

BELIEF 4

We believe every person is made in the image of God.

All people are created in the image of God and possess inherent dignity and worth. Because of this, we believe God desires healing, restoration, and flourishing for every individual and every community.

BELIEF 5

We believe in holistic wholeness.

Spiritual health is the center of human flourishing. From that center, emotional, mental, relational, and practical wholeness follow. We do not separate the spiritual from the practical. We hold them together.

BELIEF 6

We believe character must carry the gift.

Gifts open doors, but fruit and godly character sustain you in the rooms your gift unlocked. We believe spiritual formation is not optional for the anointed. It is the anchor that keeps the gift from drifting and the carrier from collapsing.

BELIEF 7

We believe in the local church.

As a para-church ministry, we exist to serve and strengthen the local church, not to replace it. We honor and support the work of pastors and ministry leaders everywhere.

BELIEF 8

We believe every believer carries an assignment.

You were not saved simply to be saved. You were created before the foundations of the earth with a purpose, a calling, and an assignment that the world needs. Our work is to help you discover, develop, and deploy it.
